Adrian Ciuplea

Adrian Ciuplea is a highly acclaimed bassist from Romania. He first fell in love with music during his early school days as a member of rock bands, eventually studying to become a soloist on cello at a music university.

Ciuplea is best known for his work with the bands Vita de Vie and Platonic Band. With Vita de Vie, he has recorded several albums and performed at numerous shows and festivals. With Platonic Band, he has played a significant role in shaping the band’s catchy fusion-rock sound.

Ciuplea’s impressive performance record includes the privilege of playing bass for legendary guitar virtuoso Steve Vai on two European tours, solidifying his reputation as one of the most talented bassists in the industry.

Beyond his accomplishments on stage, Ciuplea is also passionate about sharing his knowledge with other bass players, helping them reach their full potential and become the players they have always aspired to be.
