BECOS FX CompIQ YUNA Pro Compressor reviewed by compressorpedalreviews.com

Shortly before officially releasing our new BECOS FX CompIQ YUNA Pro Compressor, we sent a unit for review to Chris Tromp (a.k.a. The Compressor Guy) at compressorpedalreviews.com. He has reviewed over 100 compressor pedals, so he knows exactly what to look for when putting them through their paces.

His findings align perfectly with what we set out to achieve with the new YUNA. It was designed to offer a simpler control interface without compromising on features or processing quality. And let’s be honest, we wanted to compete more directly with compressors from Empress and Origin Effects, while delivering more flexibility, higher performance, and a clean, distortion-free sound.

With YUNA, we also introduced an extended timing control range not available from the competition, as well as a compression control that links ratio and threshold. We kept all the essential features that bassists and guitarists love: a variable side-chain filter, a dry/wet blend control, and a tilt EQ that proves extremely practical.

But we didn’t stop there. This review captures everything YUNA has to offer and places it perfectly between our other MINI and STELLA compressors. In summary, the review concludes:

If you find yourself wanting just a little more than the Pro Mini but the sheer number of switches and dials on the Stella scares you away, you need to seriously look at the Yuna. (…) I think Becos has a hit on their hands with this new Yuna compressor. Chris Tromp, compressorpedalreviews.com
