These services may be located abroad.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. This is the Gravatar Service Privacy Policy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Our website uses cookies. For more information about cookies, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Some embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity, and LimeSurvey to process information regarding online traffic to and through our website. Analytics will identify among other statistical data, the location of your visit and may retain the collected data, for up to one year.
eCommerce
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Pages you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed

- Location, IP address, and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping and statistical data
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for up to 5 years for tax and accounting purposes, as required by domestic laws. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.
We will also store comments, feedback, or reviews if you choose to leave them.
Who do we share your data with
We need to share your data with our carrier, to deliver your purchases to you. Your data may be scanned from package labels and retained in the archive at postal offices along the way. If you subscribed to our newsletter, your name and e-mail address may be used within third-party application programs or services like MailChimp, which handles our newsletters. If you made the payment using a service like Paypal, your personal data is on their record too. Other than that, we do not share your information with anyone, according to governing laws.
Paypal
Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.
Event Calendar
Event Calendar WD optionally embeds Google Maps on the front end to display events on the map. Embedded Google Maps behave in the exact same way as if you have visited the Google Maps site. Google may collect data about visitors, use cookies, and track, including your logged-in experience interaction with the Google platform. Google Maps are regulated under the terms of the Google Privacy Policy.
MailChimp
We use this application for sending newsletters to our subscribers. Read their privacy policy here.
YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of YouTube under Google Privacy Policy.
Hotjar / MS Clarity
We use these technologies to record and build heat maps of your behavior and interactions within our pages. We may also present you with some forms through these services from which you could optionally send us feedback about your experience on the website or your thoughts about our products. This way we can better understand what users like or don’t like about our content, services, or products. By using this data, we can adapt and serve you, the user, with better information about us, and our products. Our visitors and users have the right to obtain a copy of the information stored about them and we give them the option to have their data deleted. This is Hotjar’s Privacy Policy. This is Microsoft Clarity’s Privacy Statement.
LimeSurvey
We use this application to collect direct feedback from our users through forms or polls. Collected data include the referral page which contained the form, user IP address, and users’ direct responses. We use this information to improve our service and our products. We do not sell this data. We may publish our findings on our pages, to inform the public about what we think is of interest. Although most of the surveys are anonymous, if/when personal information is recorded, we will never disclose it. When necessary, surveys may ask for your explicit consent, depending on the topic or collected information.
Waitlist
We use an application to offer notification subscriptions for products that are temporarily out of stock. A valid email address must be introduced in the subscription form so we can send you a confirmation and notify you once the product becomes available for purchase. If new information pertinent to the product becomes available you may also be notified. After you will receive the final availability notification, your subscription data will automatically be removed from this waitlist. If you further wish to be on the waitlist again, you must re-subscribe from the product page. If you wish to be removed from the waitlist and have your personal information erased, simply reply with your request to the initial confirmation email, or contact us directly.
Google Web Fonts
For a uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. Further information about handling user data, can be found here and this is Google’s Privacy Policy.
Social Media Websites
We use SEO methods and software to optimize:
- the display of our website and the content of our website in search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc.
- the display of content and information from our website (or our content and information hosted on other websites) when you share our videos, images, and website pages on social media websites and applications like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud, etc.
Such methods and software use standard schema markups for structuring the content on our pages and are made available by social media websites and search engines themselves due to the way they need to display information on their own websites and applications. This means we are implementing their bits of software code – that they are making available as standard for such purposes – on our web pages because we want our information to be displayed in an integrated way.
For instance, when you share a video (that we made and published on our Youtube account) or an audio file (that we published on Soundcloud) on your Facebook or Twitter account, or when you share our website links on your Facebook or Twitter account, the information is displayed there in some standardized form that is regulated by those platforms through their bits of software code that we’re using.
We also have our own accounts on some social media websites and we are using their methods and software for connecting our accounts to their platforms.
Because of this interconnection between websites and applications, the users that visit our pages may also be (anonymously) viewed or tracked by such third parties in a way that is not under our control. Such visits may be viewed or tracked through most of the internet’s websites if those websites have interconnections with such social websites, applications, or search engines as we do.
For this reason, we advise you to consult such third parties’ privacy policies which may be published on their websites.
Who on our team has access to data
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Some of the traffic statistics data may be stored in our database for up to one year. If you wish to know more about what’s stored (user account & traffic statistics), please contact us.
In order to protect your personal data from being stolen in case of an accidental breach of security on our shop, we only keep your personal records for a limited amount of time, after which it is anonymized. This is how long we retain personal data when it’s no longer needed for processing:
- Inactive accounts: 3 Years, after which the account is deleted if there is no login and no orders; if there is an order, it will be allocated to “guest"
- Failed orders (unpaid within 30 min of ordering, abandoned): 2 Days, after which they are thrashed
- Canceled orders: 7 Days, after which they are thrashed
- Completed orders data: 3 Years (as per warranty period), after which the order data is anonymized and the order is allocated to “guest"
What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments or feedback (without having an account), you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Contact us if you wish to have your personal data removed from our servers. We will then send you a confirmation request at your user’s registered email address and you can finalize the process from there.
Where do we send your data?
- Your name, address, and contact information must be used by the postal couriers along with the package we send to you, in order to fulfill their transportation service which you instructed us to use at the time you placed your order.
- Your name and your country might be mentioned along with your feedback comments (about your purchased products) that you authorized us to display on our pages or on our social media posts. If you no longer want us to display your name and comments, please contact us and we will remove them promptly.
- Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
It is only we who will use the contact information you provided during purchase, by subscribing to one of our mailing lists, by sending us an inquiry through our contact form, or by responding to our surveys. According to the law, we will not share your contact information with anyone.
Additional information
Some of your online interaction options with us, like products saved in a Wishlist, are stored in your personal account, or, if you are a Guest, with the help of a cookie saved on your device. We offer such features for your convenience only. We do not profile you in any way, nor do we process, interpret, or share such data with anyone.
How we protect your data
To protect your data, we use a live firewall and anti-malware software on our servers. Additionally, all traffic to our website is encrypted, which means no third party will be able to intercept you during your visit to our website and monitor your behavior on our pages.
Passwords
If you open an account on our website, you will need to authenticate yourself with a username and password of your choice. We do not have access to your password, which is yours only unless we open an account for you and generate a default password (in which case we advise you to change it immediately). If you lost your password, you could only access your account through an automated process, where you will indicate your email or username used during registering your account. Your password will be reset, a new strong password will be randomly generated and sent to your registered email address.
What data breach procedures do we have in place
Live firewall and anti-malware software monitor all incoming traffic to our website and notify us immediately if a data breach has occurred or was attempted.
In case we learn that your data stored on our servers was compromised in any way or form, we will contact you immediately at your registered email address to inform you about recommended actions.
What third parties do we receive data from
We do not receive any data about you from a third-party entity. However, our protection software receives automatically aggregated blacklist data from established providers, in order to prevent attacks from such entities.
What automated decision-making and/or profiling do we do with user data
We have these systems in place where we may automatically contact you over email (if you are registered on our website, or if you initiated a commercial transaction and already added your contact details, or if you are affiliated with our referral program, etc.):
- A system to inform you that your shopping cart is still saved and available to complete the purchase.
- A system to inform you that someone used your referral code to make a purchase (according to our Referral Program).
- A system to inform you that you automatically received some gratification (if a referred party used your referral code).
- A system to inform you about the interactions with our website (shopping confirmation emails, subscribe/unsubscribe confirmation emails, password change emails, etc.)
We may use segmented data from our user base to build targeted promotions or messages (i.e. if a group of our users purchased the same product, we may tailor a campaign to reward them somehow; or, we may want to ask for feedback from a segment of users).
