This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.
We will also store comments, feedback or reviews if you choose to leave them.
Who we share your data with
We need to share your data with our carrier, for delivering your purchases to you. Your data may be scanned from package labels and retained in the archive at postal offices along the way. If you subscribed to our newsletter, your name and e-mail address may be used within third-party application programs or services like MailChimp, which handles our newsletters. Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of YouTube under https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Google Web Fonts
For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our plugin. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Some of the traffic statistics data may be stored in our database for up to one year. If you wish your data (user account & traffic statistics), please contact us. However, if you made a purchase from us, the transaction details will remain on file indefinitely.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments or feedback (without having an account), you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
It is only us who will use the contact information you provided during purchase, by subscribing to one of our mailing lists or by sending us an inquiry through our contact form. We will not share your contact information with anyone, according to law.
Some of your online interaction options with us, like products saved in a Wishlist, are stored in your personal account, or, if you are a Guest, with the help of a cookie saved on your device. We offer such features for your convenience only. We do not profile you in any way, nor we process, interpret or share such data with anyone.
How we protect your data
To protect your data, we use a live firewall and anti-malware software on our server. Additionally, all traffic to our website is encrypted, which means no third party will be able to intercept you during your visit on our website and monitor your behavior on our pages.
If you opened an account on our website, you will need to authenticate yourself with a user and password of your choice. We do not have access to your password, which is yours only unless we opened an account for you and we generated a default password (in which case we advised you to change it immediately). If you lost your password, you can only access your account through an automated process, where you will indicate your email or username used during registration of your account. Your password will be reset, a new strong password will be randomly generated and sent to your registered email address.
We respect your personal data as well as your privacy and we ensure you that we do our best effort to protect it. Should you have any concerns, please contact us.
What data breach procedures we have in place
Live firewall and anti-malware software monitors all incoming traffic to our website and notices us immediately if a data breach has occurred or was attempted.
In case we learn that your data stored on our servers was compromised in any way or form, we will contact you immediately on your registered email address to inform you about recommended actions.
What third parties we receive data from
We do not receive any data about you from a third party entity. However, our protection software receives automatically aggregated blacklist data from established providers, in order to prevent attacks from such entities.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
We have these systems in place where we may automatically contact you over email (if you are registered on our website or if you initiated a commercial transaction and already added your contact details, or if you are affiliated to our referral program, etc.):
- A system to inform you that your shopping cart is still saved and available to complete the purchase.
- A system to inform you that someone used your referral code to make a purchase.
- A system to inform you that you automatically received some gratification (if a referred party used your referral code).
- A system to inform you about the interactions with our website (shopping confirmation emails, subscribe/unsubscribe confirmation emails, etc.)
We may use segmented data from our user base to build targeted promotions (i.e. if a group of our users purchased the same product, we may tailor a campaign to reward them somehow).
We do not profile you.
We do not sell your data.
