Yes. There is certainly a good feeling about it. It must be an achievement to imagine and design a product like the CompIQ MINI Pro Compressor, fabricate it, selling it all over the world and then get it noticed by mainstream media, which finds it valuable and interesting.
Fact is, this is the first media appearance (Premier Guitar, May 2019, p.114) for any of our products, since we first started in 2014. We don’t have many, just a small bunch. Being small as we are, it is a wonder that we have got noticed anyway. However, we have other ideas and we are working on new things, mainly motivated by feedback from direct users, and we might get noticed for other things too; it looks like CompIQ PRO Stella Compressor has gotten the attention of the media right from the start, with Guitar World, Music Radar, Bass Magazine, and others publishing announcements of this new product.
There is a greater satisfaction than the media acknowledgment though, the one derived from user’s satisfaction. If our products are worth anything is for the buyer to decide. That is the most valued judgment to get because users are most critical for a good reason – they paid for the product. And when they decide they bought a good one, with which they are solving problems in a satisfactory manner, only then we really feel that we have accomplished something. This is how we finally validate what was once just an idea.
But yes, it is a nice feeling to be noticed and be placed in the spotlight, even for a quick moment… let’s hope that the other products we make are the same as interesting for both, the users and the media, and both will keep us running.
This is a good moment to thank you, to all who trusted us and bought our products. You are helping us grow, little by little, and because of that, we will come up with innovative and good quality products.
Many thanks to all artists that have supported this product – Nicu Patoi (Platonic Band), Prashant Aswani (recording artist at Lakeshore Ent. Group.), Jordan Ziff (guitarist at Ratt and Marty Friedman’s band), Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy), Broghdan Bat (Magica, Lupu’ cel Rau), and probably many others.
