Use it in the studio or on your pedal board. It really is quite amazing. From my perspective, for many use cases the Becos Stella MK2 is one of the best compressor pedals currently on the market.

Even if you apply a lot of compression, the amount of sound information does not decrease. It has a core body, so in that sense, it creates a high-quality impression. There is no noise and the build quality is high.

All in, the Stella manages to cram a dizzying number of top-quality features into a standard pedal. At all times, the tone was clear, clean, and detailed in the way that I've come to expect from high-end studio plugins. Bravo!

The impetus behind the TS8-JZ was to gently push the front-end of Ziffer’s Marshall Plexi (or any typical classic amp), and if that’s your general purpose, setting the Clip Switch to “Classic” ushers in that TS-808-style squishiness with very little coloration and a dollop of saturated creaminess.
